Dr. Kim is a board-certified endodontist and associate professor at the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, bringing extensive clinical and academic experience to Drexel Hill Endodontics.
He earned his first Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Kyung Hee University School of Dentistry in Seoul, South Korea, in 1998, followed by a three-year residency in Endodontics and Operative Dentistry. After completing three years of military service, Dr. Kim gained valuable clinical experience in private practice and contributed to dental education as a faculty member at his alma mater.
In the United States, he was accepted into the postgraduate program in Endodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, completing his specialty training in 2014. He later earned a second D.M.D. from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2017.
Dr. Kim is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and remains actively involved in clinical practice, research, and mentoring the next generation of dental professionals.
